IMIX is a leading edge company in machine
vision and image processing.
Turn-key systems
IMIX is founded in spring 1991 as a spin-off of
the university of Twente. Three employees, working at the electrical
and controlling department in the vision group remarked opportunities
to develop and sell advanced machine vision products for a range of
applications in industry, mainly to be used for automated inspection
and machine control. The IMIX philosophy is to realize customized,
flexible, high speed turn-key systems.
Tailor made projects
IMIX has produced a wide range of projects in
industry and developed several standard systems. IMIX has succeeded to
implement multifunctional measuring systems for a high flexible use.
The company was one of the first to use the advantages of PC's instead
of mainframe machines. Thus making the machine vision technique
available for it's customers without high financial investments.
IMIX is co-maker and has a strategic partnership with several
companies. The systems now are used for both integrated quality
control and controlling complete machines.
OEM's and end users
In the future IMIX will remain supplier of
leading edge technology for the OEM market such as machine and
instrument vendors. It gives OEM's a competitive advantage through
advanced machine vision and controlling technology which increases
machine performance and cost reduction. Of course IMIX will also
continue to supply to end users. Keeping in touch with the end users
is vital. It provides the essential information about the requirements
and constraints for future developments. |
